 To ensure an even, long lasting tan, prepare for your appointment by showering, shaving, and exfoliating.

• Do not apply body oils, heavy creams, or body butters before your tan session. Regular lotions are OK.
• Do not wear oil based foundation makeup. (mascara & eyeliner are ok)
• Enjoy waxing, manicures, pedicures or other pampering before your appointment. If you must wait until after the appointment, wait at least 24 hours.
• Consider wearing a dark swimsuit, bikini, or undergarments to your session.
• Ideally, bring dark, loose fitting clothes and sandals or flip flops to wear after your session.

•  Wait at least 8-10 hours to shower or engage in activities that cause you to sweat. (wait longer, if possible, to give your tan more time to set) If you don't have 8 hours to wait, ask about our rapid tanning solution.
• Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! (of course not until at least 8 hours after your session) Hydrating skin will prolong the life of your tan. Applying lotion morning and night is ideal. Your skin will thank you for it.
• Shower with mild cleansers. Avoid heavy exfoliating and long showers or baths. Pat dry after you bathe, no rubbing. (This is better for your skin anyway!) 

Please note: lotions containing alpha hydroxy acids will speed up your skin’s natural shedding process and will fade your tan more quickly.
